WOW. For those who have not been able to experience the Grand Canyon, they should try to make it at least once in their lifetime. On a three-week excursion with family before entering high school in ‘92, we visited the Grand Canyon. Towards the last part of the trip, which included visiting the Petrified Forest, Badlands, deserts and the California reserves, we finally got to see Mount Rushmore and the Grand Canyon.
Even though I was younger, I was still in awe and was moved when I stood on the edge of the ridge looking down into the massive canyon. I know a lot of people don’t have the chance to travel, but it was a once in a lifetime trip.
I would like to travel there in the future when I have children in hopes that they will feel what I felt and also in hopes that it will be the same as I remembered it.
