Grand Canyon Has No Groceries
June 19, 2005
One doesn’t have to explain the beauty of Grand Canyon to anyone, but there was one severe problem when we stayed there (6-8 Aug, 2004): The supermarket in Grand Canyon village was closed for 2 consecutive days, which meant that we had to go to Tusayan to shop and then wait in a mile-long queue to get into the park again. I think the people running the supermarket just didn’t care enough, because if they had they would have managed to reopen their shop within a few hours after almost any kind of emergency.
