Grand Canyon January Visit

We visited in January. Whilst there was snow on the ground and the trails to the base of the canyon were closed due ice, the temperatures were not that bad and the park was practically deserted, allowing us to drive along the rim trails and see the various viewpoints at our leisure. The first view of the Canyon is always the best. Nothing can prepare you for the sheer size and depth of this natural wonder.
