Bring a daypack or hiking pack for the trails. If you are camping, bring backcountry gear.
Wear hiking boots or comfortable shoes that grip well. You might want to bring a poncho, but really, any rain in the canyon will feel pretty good. For clothing, shorts and t-shirts are fine, but you might want something light-weight and long-sleeved to protect against the hot sun.
Bandaids, snakebite kit (maybe)
camera with 100, 200, 400 film…the usual.
Sunscreen, SPF >30. Possibly insect repellant.
BRING WATER BOTTLES or a Camelback-type hydration system and LOTS of water!!!!!!
