Rouge Rocky Sunsets

I loved the Grand Canyon. It had such a surreal feeling about it as the rocky terrian provided a rough yet gorgeous concept of beauty. Especially coming from a Mid-West girl. The landscape provided an incredible backdrop as the sun began to set in the evenings. The light bent and reflected in spectacular rouge hues!
It was one of those rustic vacations where we had the opportunity to get dirty all day hiking down into the canyon. Then relax and soak in the land from afar in the evenings. We spoiled ourselves at the McCarroll El Tovar Lodge for incredible dinners overlooking the graduer of the Grand Canyon.
It truly was an unforgettable escape.
