The view is enough of a reason in itself, but it is also a good trip for those on a budget. It is also a hikers dream, a 20 mile round trip from top to bottom. I recommend planning ahead though, all the businesses that live at the bottom require reservations months in advance.
P.S. try the mule ride, it’s fun.
