I recommend staying at one of the hotels on the rim in the Park. (El Tovar is the deluxe motel on the rim, Bright Angel Lodge has rooms and cabins on the rim and then Maswick is a 3 minute walk from the rim.) We stayed at the Maswick and it was very reasonable at $75 a night.... (more...)
We stayed at the Yavapai Lodge east for two nights at the beginning of the month. I had no problems getting a reservation 5 months ahead of time it looks like that was the right lead-time for this lodge. It is in the park just a short walk from the rim. Some people think... (more...)
