When you hear the words “Southern California” you can’t help but think of the beaches of Santa Monica. Now you can walk and feel on the very sand where Hollywood directors filmed the most watched television series of all time, Baywatch. Nothing beats simply sticking your feet in the fine sand, sitting in the sun and observing the ocean swell, or watching your kids frolic. The simple pleasures. Santa Monica Beach is perfect for that.

You’ll have 90 minutes around lunch time to enjoy this incredible beach and the surrounding quaint boutiques and beachside grills. The city of Santa Monica cleans and rakes the sand daily and it’s mild surf makes it a prime beach for swimming, bodysurfing or boogie boarding. Lifeguard stations are staffed during all daylight hours. If you choose you can spend your time swimming in the ocean, just don’t forget your bathing suit!

Santa Monica Beach enjoys on average 340 days of sunshine a year plus a nearly constant gentle ocean breeze. Cycling, movie shoots, beach volleyball games, and the finest of people-watching all happen here, and it’s no wonder. People love to gather at this California beach, partially because it is so pristine.

Be sure to save some time to visit the Santa Monica Pier. this is the oldest pleasure Pier on the West coast, opened in 1909. Pacific Park amusement ride center houses the world’s first solar-powered Ferris wheel. The Pier also features Heal the Bay’s Santa Monica Pier Aquarium, historic Hippodrome and hand-crafted carousel (circa 1922) with 44 hand-painted wooden horses (still offers old-fashioned entertainment for under a dollar), dining, amusement games, and shops. The Pier atmosphere is decorated with a variety of street performers and artists who put their talents on display for crowds of admirers every day.

After a brief photo stop at the Warner Bros Studios; your professional driver/guide will entertain and inform you as you travel to view the legendary Hollywood Sign. It’s more than just nine white letters spelling out a city’s name; it’s one of the world’s most evocative symbols – a universal metaphor for ambition, success, glamour …for this dazzling place, industry and dream we call H-O-L-L-Y-W-O-O-D.

You’ll pass by the famous Capitol Records building where so many legendary artists including Frank Sinatra recorded their hits. From there, you’re just a moment away from a walk amongst the “stars” on the world’s most famous sidewalk, the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Enjoy a leisurely stroll down the famous Hollywood and Vine Streets. Explore the sidewalk “stars” that honor not only movie actors, but radio, TV, & stage performers, directors, singers, songwriters, and other well-known show-biz personalities. You’ll have over 45 minutes to capture photos from this exciting and very famous corner of Hollywood.

At Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, you’ll be sure to find yourself gazing down at Hollywood’s royalty. Lose yourself amongst the stars’ footprints, handprints and autographs that are immortalized in the legendary cement. This renowned forecourt represents a virtual “Who’s Who” of Hollywood superstars.

Located just a block west of the Chinese Theatre, is one of the most historic sites on the Boulevard, the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. Some say the ghosts of Hollywood past still linger here. Marilyn Monroe was a resident at the Hollywood Roosevelt for two years when her modeling career took off. A number of people claim to have seen the ghost of Marilyn Monroe dancing in the ballroom of the hotel. Perhaps you may have your own encounter if you are lucky?

The next part of your tour begins with a guided tour (approximately 1 hour - time may vary) through Beverly Hills and Bel Air. See many homes that belong to some of Hollywood’s biggest stars. With so many famous homes for our drivers/guides to choose from, the itinerary changes from day to day. Each driver has his or hers personal favorites. To end this magical one day tour to Hollywood, you’ll enjoy a quick walk down Rodeo Drive (pronounced Roh-DAY-oh) of Beverly Hills. A shopping district famous for designer label and haute couture fashion.

After a day of creating memories to last a lifetime, you can sit back and relax as your are driven back to your Las Vegas hotel between 8:30 PM and 9:30 PM.

Tour Pick Up: Approximately 5:55 AM to 6:30 AM - Your exact pick up time and location will be provided at the time of booking or via e-mail. There is NO checkin-terminal for this tour. After a couple hotel pickups, it’s straight to Hollywood!

Tour Length: Return to Las Vegas at about 8:30-9:30 PM - Approx 14 hours (hotel to hotel).
