<p>Once you are picked up from your Waikiki hotel, your tour guide will inform you of all the sounds and sites of Honolulu as it was before the Japanese attacked. Once you arrive at Pearl Harbor, you will discover the many interesting relics of war and World War II displays. </p>
<p>Board the Navy operated ferry boat over to the USS Arizona Memorial. Stand on the breathtaking structure that lays on top of the sunken battleship. Spend a moment and remember the 1,177 men that are forever resting beneath your feet in the clear water below.</p>
<p>After your visit to the USS Arizona memorial, you&#8217;ll spend some time at the USS Bowfin Submarine Center. Step on board the USS Bowfin, also known as the &#8220;Pearl Harbor Avenger,&#8221; for an amazing panoramic view of the melancholy harbor. You&#8217;ll enjoy a 1-hour self guided exploration through the inside of the docked submarine. Step below the decks and walk through a real Word War II submarine, touring its torpedo room, sleeping quarters and engine room.  You&#8217;ll discover how the USS Bowfin Submarine played a key part in the defeat of Japan in the Second World War.  </p>
<p>After a short drive across the Ford Island Bridge, you&#8217;ll be able to step on board and walk around the USS Missouri Battleship.  Enjoy a guided tour of the deck. Travel back in time to over 50 years ago and visualize the hosting of the signing of the Japanese surrender of the Second World War. Walk in the footsteps of General Douglas MacArthur on the surrender deck and stand under the massive guns before moving on to the final stop on the tour, the Pacific Aviation Museum.  This is where the Pearl Harbor aviation story is told. </p>
<p>It is inside these Pearl Harbor WWII hangars that you will see the scars of the December 7th 1941 Japanese attack on the harbor. The Pacific Aviation Museum is dedicated to showing the valor of these American Aviators and their patriotism as they fought so valiantly in the Pacific.  There are interactive simulators and interesting exhibits showcasing the stories behind authentic WWII fighter planes and bombers. See planes like an authentic Japanese Zero and a B-25B Bomber. 				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Busy and exciting times await those who wish to tour the Hawaiian island of Oahu. Locations such as the Dole Pineapple Plantation, the Polynesian Cultural Center as well as beautiful views from high up vistas are what lie ahead. Come along on an amazing tour through the eye catching destinations that are on Oahu. <span id="more-238"></span></p>
<p>The first leg of this journey is a stop at the Dole Pineapple Plantation Pavilion. Once you have arrived on site, there will be a twenty five minute stay on this huge farm. You can get a guided tour of the farms that grow the sweet pineapples this company sells. Also, you can get a taste of some of the best fruit in the world or the sweet Dole whip that is concocted here. </p>
<p>Once the tour of Dole is complete you will hop back on the bus and continue to the next stop. The second place to be visited while you are on this tour is Oahu&#8217;s famous North Shore. This area of the island is known for the large waves that break all along the shore line. You will also visit Waimea Bay, Banzai Pipeline and Sunset Beach. While you are visiting these small towns you will notice that the everyday life of those who call this place home is influenced by the surfing culture that floods the area.</p>
<p>After you visit these eclectic cities, continue to the next stop on this tour which is the Polynesian Cultural Center. We will provide you with lunch by way of an all you can eat barbeque buffet. Once you have had you fill of good food take a ride in a canoe that has double hulls and visit some of the more out of the way places including the villages of the South Seas and a seven island canoe parade. </p>
<p>The tour continues through the green landscape that makes up Kahana Valley. This is one of the beautiful places that were used on the filming of the hit television series Fantasy Island. While you are there you will pass through the region know as Chinaman&#8217;s Hat to see the Byodo-in Buddhist temple. After leaving this holy and breathtaking place you will make your way up the mountain to Pali lookout. From here you can see the Windward part of Oahu as well as Koolau Caldera. The views from this spot are some of the most amazing vistas that you will lay eyes on.</p>

This place is home to the beautiful beaches that renew life in us all. See where the infamous attack on Pearl Harbor took place. Visit locations where awarding winning TV and films were shot and enjoy in the culture and magic of the Polynesian Cultural Center. <span id="more-211"></span></p>
<p>This particular tour starts at the Arizona Memorial that holds the details of the attack on December 7th, 1941. The guide explains just what happened that allowed one hundred eighty three Japanese planes to bombard the coast line and bring about this horrific battle. Once you arrive, you will see a movie that has actual footage from the day it happened so that you can see for yourself what it was like for the soldiers that fought so bravely. Once the film is complete you will make your way to the memorial that is permanently docked at Pearl Harbor. </p>
<p>After the dramatic viewing of the shrine dedicated to those who lost their lives you will go to the Visitor&#8217;s Center. This place houses a WWII Museum exhibit as well as gift shop that sells memorabilia, books and souvenirs that are dedicated to Pearl Harbor and the remembrance of the tragic events that took place.  </p>
<p>Then you will travel to the center of the island of Oahu where the Dole Pineapple Plantation Pavilion is located. A guide will direct you through this huge farm that raises pineapples for the company. You can see the fruit growing in the fields or have a taste of Dole whip as well as the juicy and sweet fruit that is grown at this plantation. </p>
<p>After having your fill of pineapples, you will get to relax as you make your way to the famous North Shore. Marvel at the huge waves that crash onto the sandy shore line. Take in Waimea Bay, Banzai Pipeline and Sunset Beach. See how surfing affects the culture of this amazing part of the island. </p>
<p>A trip to the Polynesian Cultural Center is the next destination on the tour. While you are there enjoy an endless complimentary barbecue buffet. Enjoy rides in canoes that are equipped with two hulls and travel through the villages of South Seas. Seven different themed exotic islands are scattered throughout the area that will hold your interest. </p>
